Yes the MLS season chugs along oblivious to the big show--except
without games on ESPN2.

Andy Herron finally resumes scoring for the Fire and Nate Jaqua has
rounded into form but the Fire again give away points in the last
minutes.. Dasan Robinson the Fire rookie central defender(out of Dayton
U--same as Chris Rolfe) has played (very well) 430 minutes for a yearly
stipend of $11,700. Tony Sanneh is getting $365,000 for his 130 minutes
to date.

Kansas City 3
Chicago 2

CHI -- Andy Herron(Thiago) 4
KC -- Scott Sealy(Sasha Victorine, Davy Arnaud) 27
CHI -- Nate Jaqua(Ivan Guerrero) 30
KC -- Scott Sealy(Jose Burciaga Jr., Sasha Victorine) 39
KC -- Jose Burciaga Jr.(unassisted) 89

Welshman Andy Dorman is filling in admirably(3 goals 4 assists) for
vacationing Clint Dempsey. Good crowd in NE.

New England 1
DC United 1

DC -- Jaime Moreno(Lucio Filomeno) 44
NE -- Andy Dorman(unassisted) 86

Herculez Gomez is back on track and Jean Philippe Peguero(6 goals) is
the only thing worth watching for the Red Bull.

New York 2
Galaxy 1

LA -- Herculez Gomez(Paulo Nagamura, Josh Gardner) 25
NY -- Edson Buddle(Youri Djorkaeff) 27
NY -- Jean Philippe Peguero(Seth Stammler) 28

I suppose the only way to get Brian Mullan a cap is to name Dominic
Kinnear Bruce Arena's replacement.

Houston 2
Real 1

HOU -- Brian Mullan(unassisted) 36
HOU -- Alejandro Moreno(Brian Mullan) 83
RSL -- Jason Kreis(penalty kick) 88

Ante Razov is up to 10 goals for the season. Jonathan Bornstein is
doing a bang up job at left back for the junior goats. Bradley's team
got an early lead and choked the Crew into submission.

Chivas USA 2
Columbus Crew 0

CHV -- Ante Razov (Juan Francisco Palencia) 5
CHV -- Juan Pablo Garcia (Francisco Mendoza) 85

FWIW, I've read that Sanneh has a degenerative back condition, in which
case it's brave of him to try to keep playing but probably a losing
effort.

A game-tying assist and a game-winning goal for the MLS version of
Roberto Carlos ... how has this guy never been called up?

Roberto Carlos ... how has this guy never been called up?
Because he's wildly inconsistent.
